Pada postingan saya yang terdahulu tentang MacetLagi.com, saya telah memaparkan apa yang menjadi manfaat portal pemantau arus lalu lintas ini. Kita tidak bisa pungkiri informasi terkini tentang situasi arus lalu lintas sekarang ini sangat dibutuhkan seiring percepatan bisnis terkadang terhambat dengan kondisi lalu lintas yang ruwet (baca: macet) seperti di Jakarta ini. Bagaimana jadinya jika Anda gagal mendapatkan klien karena telat, padahal disebabkan Anda salah memilih jalan dan terjebak macet? Tentu mengenaskan, bukan?Waktu melihat komentar yang ada di postingan saya tentang Macetlagi.com, ternyata ada salah satu staf LewatMana.com yang blogwalking ke sini. Setelah saya memantau dan mengamati walau tidak terlalu dalam, ternyata LewatMana.com juga merupakan portal informasi arus lalu lintas semacam dengan MacetLagi.com.
LewatMana.com menawarkan lebih banyak CCTV dan lebih luas cakupan kotanya dibanding MacetLagi.com (meskipun sampai artikel ini dipublish masih di sekitar Jakarta, Depok, dan Tangerang), LewatMana.com juga menawarkan video rekaman (delayed video) seperti yang disajikan MacetLagi.com. Dari pengalaman yang saya alami, saya mendapatkan perbedaan sekitar 3 (tiga) menit
dari realtime dengan gambar yang diambil (dengan asumsi bisa kurang atau bisa lebih bergantung dari waktu yang Anda pakai dan di mana Anda berada, pun koneksi internet yang Anda punya turut mempengaruhinya–semua user bisa berbeda hasilnya). Misalnya gambar yang saya ambil di bawah ini:
Gambar di atas saya ambil sekitar jam 8.58 WIB (GMT+7, Jakarta), dan gambar yang terambil adalah pada pukul 8.55 WIB. Walaupun telat sekitar 3 (tiga) menit, informasi yang kita dapatkan cukup memberikan gambaran arus lalu lintas jalan yang ingin kita lewati sesuai dengan kamera CCTV yang ada di titik rawan kemacetan.
Selain melihat gambar yang ada terekam oleh CCTV, kamu juga bisa memantau arus lalu lintas dengan menjadi follower account Twitter milik LewatMana.com di: https://twitter.com/lewatmana . Kamu pun bisa menjadi partisipan dengan memberikan informasi tentang arus lalu lintas di LewatMana.com via handphone kamu di: https://m.lewatmana.com
